Picked this up from mail today. Fourth edition of "Guide to LaTeX" (don't Google it, kids!) from 2004. It came from UK and, apparently, belonged to some D. Linton.
Also, as a pleasant surprise, it contained TexLive 2003 distribution for Windows, Linux and MacOS UNSEALED!
I love thrift books.

#Latex@chesheer I loved LaTeX. I used it for my final paper, researches, etc when I was at university, while other friends were just using *Office tools.
I remember I used LyX - but I don't remember anything about it, more than 20 years later.
Now, I'm curious to try it again -

Now, I'm curious to try it again@stefano This is cool! I actually started to use LyX now for my work and it's a miracle for me. Coupled with pandoc it's a killer app.
I remember that around 10 years ago LyX was somewhat glitchy and buggy, I couldn't do a thing. Also, I didn't now about pandoc back then.
