guys, what’s the coolest first name you’ve ever seen or heard in person? doesn’t have to be a name you’d give your own kid, just something that made you go “damn, what a cool name”.
I ask because one of my nephew’s besties is called Endeavour and that is a COOL name.
(his mates call him Noun, which is hilarious)
@astronomerritt were his parents Morse fans?
My friend has a kid called Onyx. I just think it's lovely, and somehow much nicer than more traditional gem stone names like Ruby or Crystal. -

Onyx is FABULOUS. I love gemstone names anyway, but Onyx is especially cool.

@missmelanieh Sheba is pretty great!
I guess I was more asking for names people personally thought were very cool: these are always going to be objective. Like, some people might find an Irish name like Saoirse cool, and that would be valid for them, but I know loads of 'em. 😆

@astronomerritt I like southern European names in general. Maybe it is the whole Latinos being sexy trope though.

@astronomerritt My grand-niece is named Lexi, which is inherently cool because it's got an X in it. 😎 And that's her actual name on her birth certificate, not a diminutive of Alexis, or Alexandra or anything like that.

@newrepublic This is a great article. Everyone who says that Democrats skeptical of Israel need to suck it up and vote blue no matter who needs to read this, immediately. A party cannot win power when it does not reflect the priorities of the majority of its supporters. Democratic leaders must have a plan for Israel and Palestine that treats Palestinians as human beings with rights, and Israel as a country governed by international law. If we screw this up, we only have ourselves to blame.

Before, you were seeing the same topics (more or less, I think the logic changed a little bit) but in a "topic list" style — like you were navigating into just another category.
While that worked fine, the vast majority of content was microblog content that did not come with a title, so one needed to be generated.
A topic listing with many many long titles (some of which don't function well as titles) does not a good topic list make 🙂
