@exchgr regretfully, I have to acknowledge the "if" is very likely. I was dragged into using AI by my employer (I like having health insurance), but it is remarkable how far agentic AI has come in the past year or so. The current frontier models can build a tremendous range of software, with only a small amount of expert guidance. And, the more expert the guidance, the more advanced software the models can deal with.
I was a dedicated AI skeptic, until I tried agentic coding with Claude Opus.

@swelljoe i guess i’ll have to try opus for myself. i mean hell, my employer’s paying for it. but i have serious doubts
