our float formatting that uses unoptimized double path is still 1.5 times faster than to_chars/Ryu optimized for floats LOL

Good morning! It’s Christmas Eve. For me and many others that has meant being grateful for what we have and caring for other humans.
Help families and kids survive a horribly harsh winter in Gaza, where aid still is not entering at enough cadence to offer relief. Where 80%of buildings have been destroyed and most are living in tents.
Anything helps.
