@pitrh they will never reply, as their intention is to convince people that "you need their services to ensure high reliability in delivery". Some of my customers tried and they even received more spam (or some legit mails in spam). After one year, most of them decided to go back to their self hosted servers.
@stefano also GOOG has some odd ideas about what it considers spam.
I had a problem reaching GOOG hosted domains from my regular address -- my messages consistently went to the spam folder or just disappeared.
Then it turned out that the problem was my .signature had a reference to blogspot.com -- a GOOG hosted domain, which for some reason had made it onto one of the spamhaus badness lists, leading to a reject when trying to post to a mailing list for that reason.
Buongiorno Mohammed, quando puoi, mi scrivi come stai e come va la tua scottatura (a me sembra piuttosto seria), se sei riuscito a farti vedere da un medico. Ti penso, caro ragazzo, tienimi informata sulla tua salute.
@andersgo@minsoochoo It might sound silly, but the sound of a dial-up modem still gives me a rush - that perfect blend of excitement, anxiety, and anticipation. And even today, I'm still blown away by how we can boot up a computer and be instantly connected. We just take for granted things that were practically science fiction a short time ago.
@Moss@forestine I mean, I can understand a list of (human) languages you can read/write/speak/understand, but seriously, nobody here is going to write you in Befunge!
@stefano@minsoochoo nothing beats a good dialup network. It’s like waiting for a letter to receive overseas. And all the useful other things you have time to do while waiting for the response
