An interface that would let you have multiple columns and would let you have multiple accounts signed in.

I hate to glaze anything too much... but Fosstodon is pretty cool, I'd say. If you moved instances during the troubles you should really consider making your way back home! Miss u <3

it's tangentially related, but there's a book out on the history of activity pub and the drivers

Any more info on this?
From reading their FAQ if seems like an ActivityPub implementation for Micro-blogging but with other features and integration with other Fedi networks (sort of like mbin?).
A quick scan of their main public instance shows higher than average amount of far right content, but not overwhelmingy so (and the examples were from other servers, not clear if its Pleroma instances or smaller mastodon servers that get blocked on major instances).
What am I missing?

I think all non fascist instances moved to Akkoma once it was released.
