@bean my biggest (optional) time sink for years now has been variant sudokus. i follow a youtube channel where they do solve videos for a couple every day and i just do the ones from those without watching the video

they're interesting, incredibly varied, pretty satisfying most of the time, and probably pretty good for your brain. my mental arithmetic has become really fast from doing them
