In RTL locales, LTR is broken in timelines and RTL is broken in quotes.

Here is how I have been doing quotes:

* View the toot that you want to quote.
* Triple-dot menu, Copy The Link.
* Compose a new toot (or reply).
* Paste the link in.

Example:

My understanding was that you can "manualy" quote toot by incuding : "RE: <url>" in your toot but was unable to make it work in my test.

In answer to the questions from tommy and categulario - standard repo (f-droid.org/repo), and it is apparently V32 beta 01 (although I had to look at the website for that - f-droid app does not tell me anything other than '32'). I do not have unstable updates enabled, so this is current stable..
