@krans @cypnk Once you've built a guillotine, it'll seem like a waste to only use it on a few billionaires.
A popular revolution against extreme inequality looks more and more likely daily. They're already very, very likely to descend into indiscriminate bloodshed without us trivialising it ahead of time.
Demagogues love violence, it's cathartic and distracting and it's easier than figuring out a fair way to distribute expropriated hoards of abstract wealth.

@krans When people blame *all* their problems on the select few billionaires in the public eye, the finger pointing is easy and yes, violence becomes the easy and often wrong answer

Fair wages and taxes are more fun, long lasting and systemic. Billionaires are theft. Heading straight to fair is the fastest way to help those needing it.

Since biblical times usurary was unethical, sinful, paying starvation wages from silk lined pockets is theft, monopoly is a long known and illegal evil.
