See this is exactly what I am talking about. Focussing a lens is a solved problem. There are multiple well tested and established solutions for this which work flawlessly, reliably and fast.
No one, and I mean NO ONE needs a deep neural network to determine if an image is in focus.
IT’S NOT A FUCKING PROBLEM AND IT DOES NOT NEED SOLVING, LEAST OF ALL WITH “AI”, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

you can try installing Linux desktop provided that you no longer needed Windows specific apps or games or have a specific requirements that are not compatible with Linux, BSD or macOS. So choose wisely.

@mariosiniscalchi @kenobit @rico l'ultima volta che ci ho guardato thunderbird non era tra i client che soddisfano le xmpp.org/about/compliance-suit… (ovvero l'elenco di feature che un client / server / coso in generale deve supportare per essere considerato aggiornato e adatto all'uso generale nel 2023)
non so se le ultime versioni abbiano migliorato le cose, però

@gecco @kenobit @rico (comunque anche uno dei miei talk al linux day sarà su XMPP, non so se verrà registrato, però se interessa è stato registrato quello che ho tenuto alla debconf, anche se lì il target era diverso)

@gecco @kenobit @rico a quanto ne so anche con matrix puoi metterti in piedi il tuo server
la differenza è che con xmpp è un'operazione tutto sommato semplice, indolore, alla portata dello smanettone medio e che richiede poche risorse hardware e poca manutenzione nel tempo (confermo con esperienza personale)
matrix, in base a tutto ciò che ho sentito dire, richiede più risorse hardware, più sbattito per l'installazione, più tempo per la manutenzione.
unito a ragioni storiche, è un motivo per cui nella pratica i server xmpp piccoli sono discretamente diffusi, mentre mi risulta che la maggior parte delle persone che usano matrix siano sul server principale o altri server grandi
