gay men who have been through the British private school system are quite likely to harbour misogynist and racist views (because of that system, not simply due to being gay)

@afewbugs I know one through an online sports forum. He's also virulently anti-trans.

He's also older (I would guess 60s) and I think if he'd been given the option at a younger age, might have transitioned. But I really, really hesitate to diagnose that in anyone else, particularly someone I only know through little bits of text over a wire.

All I can figure is that some very hurt people sometimes internalize some awful shit.
