@atomicpoet There is no harm reduction strategy for AI which is not a loss for humanity. It doesn't matter if I get compensated for my work being stolen by AI, it's still stolen. It doesn't matter if "less AI" is better than "more AI", The world with "some AI" in it is still not a world worth living in. We've created a mind-virus that consumes anything and everything and is literally designed to wiggle around regulations. I don't see why we should be talking about how much to surrender to it.

Quando ero ragazzina giravano dei video nei quali dei buontemponi doppiavano scene di film famosi con frasi assurde in un pesante accento cagliaritano. In uno di questi video a un personaggio de Il Gladiatore veniva fatto dire "Coca a chili e Coca-Cola...hmm... Pippo tanto... Pippo come Pippo Franco..." Ecco da allora associo Pippo Franco all'abuso di cocaina, e queste uscite sembrano esserne una conferma

Per non scombinare il thread.
Una zitella di qui negli anni '50andò a lavorare in Svizzera, e si stupì della quantità di ragazzini Down che vedeva in giro, pensando che qui non ce ne fossero.
Poi scoprì che erano tenuti nascosti (soprattutto dalle famiglie bigotte) perché considerati "espiazione" di chissà quale peccato e quindi socialmente riprovevoli.
