After days of storms and unsettled weather that made my pain levels and numbness spike, we woke to warm sunshine and just enough breeze to keep it from being hot. I even had feeling in three toes on my left foot all day, which happens occasionally for a few hours, but rarely for a full day. Brunch at the Green Barn (yum!) and a 2.5 mile hike to celebrate!

@sky I'm more concerned about the very real problem that I can't find a fix for and makes me want to throw my laptop at you than some hypothetical but nevertheless plausible problems that exist in a thing I'm not using right now. Please take the tribalism somewhere else.

One year ago: The photographer photographed. Plus the picture I took.
My wife took this picture of me playing with my camera on the back of our pontoon boat. By then it seemed the auroral nights would never end.

The morning hike was up an old Class VI road that was probably once well traveled until they realized a half century or so ago that going *around* the mountain is better than over it!
