@enki_2931 si la modularità non è poco eh… tra graphene e altri non ho approfondito a sufficienza per cui non so esprimermi anche se il consenso generale pare per graphene appunto. Considerato poi che sto seguendo lo sviluppo dei cellulari con display e-ink… ne tirassero fuori uno con graphene e fotocamera non spazzatura sarebbe perfetto per me! Ma… vediamo…. Intanto speriamo che non passi sta porcata domani !

Maybe they had a strong press with a stamping die that simply took brass rods and brute-forced their ends into that shape. Don’t know.

The rib is important, though. Without that they’d be near useless.

An Office suite is a huge undertaking, and as the de facto standard, anyone trying has to have excellent support for MS formats.

But also, it’s staggering that there really is no good cross-platform competition. LibreOffice has a place in my heart, but I’m also realistic that it has many shortcomings that make it hard to recommend as a replacement in many cases. And AFAIK it’s the best option available.

Just because I know how to work around them doesn’t mean my neighbor even cares to bother…

I swear “I absolutely must use this thing that is so ‘Windows-only’ that even Crossover/Proton/WINE can’t help” is pretty much down to a few niche software packages.

And MS Office.

@andre123 Onestamente non consiglio il Fairphone 6 con Murena OS. MicroG non mi convince e, per quello che offre, 700 € sono troppi: componenti da medio gamma, prestazioni così così.
Se devo spendere quella cifra, prendo un Pixel 9 e ci installo GrapheneOS: è diecimila volte meglio in termini di sicurezza, privacy e ottimizzazione.
L’unico vero pregio del Fairphone è la modularità, ma per il resto… lascia a desiderare.
