Today's phlebotomist looked over the right arm and picked a vein, “Looks the best. I like it to be ‘one and done’.” he declared.
Except it had a blowout. Bandaged it up, moved to left arm, and slowly got a good IV put in along with tape to reinforce.
“Two and through?” I offered.Last time I got an MRI the contrast didn’t go in due to a messed up IV. Had to come back a week later and do it all again. These injections are sizable. Unlike the little squirt of saline solution when testing the IV, MRI contrast is blasted in with dual high pressure syringes.
