I write technical articles on my blog.
AIs show up in large numbers to read them, crawl them, learn from them.
Time passes. I publish a new post.And right on schedule, someone comments:
"This was clearly written by an AI".Which is fascinating, really.
I write.
Machines read.
I keep writing.
Then humans accuse me of being the machine.At this point I am not sure if the problem is that AI sounds too human,
or that humans have forgotten what a human who actually studies sounds like.Either way, I will keep writing.
Worst case scenario, the AIs will enjoy it.
Best case scenario, one day a human will too.@stefano

Best case scenario, one day a human will too.@stefano I don't think I'll ever be accused of this as I always have typos and I type so fast I sometimes forget to write words lol. But I should make a habit of cleaning up and editing my copy ... with AI.
Also, I refuse to let go of the em dash damnit.

@liztai if there are typos, they'll accuse you to put those typos intentionally inside an AI generated text to make it more "human" 😆

Best case scenario, one day a human will too.@stefano i also have written some technical blog posts and I kept avoiding AI as well. I've tried to impose my style, but I recognize that AI just got too good to sound like humans, or generally, humans tend to write at less higher level than ever.

so far it generates a lot of laughs

@mau @Cincia @aitech @game Li prendi per quello che possono fare, quando non ti fai condizionare dal marketing. Io avevo sottinteso che facesse gli anagrammi tramite dati e calcoli matematici, non certo perché ragiona come un cervello umano. Io lavorandoci sopra per cose importanti (ausilio per sopperire dove possibile alla mancanza della vista) pretendo che i loro limiti siano belli evidenti, alla luce del sole, o sotto il tuo naso, per capirsi. Perché se ti fidi di un modello del genere come riferimento per orientarti a piedi su strada, è un problema.
Io spero che Glidance, il robot-guida che stanno costruendo negli USA, si avvalga di tecnologie di vario tipo e non di LLM e basta. Se no viene fuori darwin award

@Cincia @aitech @game @elettrona ma perché un modello linguistico, che fondamentalmente è un generatore stocastico di token, dovrebbe avere il concetto di anagramma che è a un livello diverso?
Che li chiamino "intelligenze" non è un mio problema, io li prendo per quello che possono fare.
