"Black Cat Monet Waterlilly" - by illustrator Allan Brakus

@Natasha_Jay Is this what the Loch Ness monster sightings were all about?
@Natasha_Jay My thoughts exactly!

@Natasha_Jay reminds me of the film Flow.

@Natasha_Jay Everything is better with cats (and dogs) in it, even Monet!

@Natasha_Jay I love it but I was puzzled about this image. So I'v looked about it. The first time it appears on the web is on Etsy, february 2023. Allan Brakus is unknown. No portfolio, no informations about him, nowhere. It seems to be a merch name on a platform (displate)
When I look on Etsy with the name of the first image, I find VoxFeline. Specialized in printing famous paintings with funny cats.
There is no artist. IMO it's a lucky try with the first IAgen models.
*disappointed* -
@Natasha_Jay Hey, look, it's Nessie!

@Natasha_Jay I've not seen domestic cats play in water like that - tigers, yes, but not domestic cats.
I *have* seen a kitten jump onto a waterlily leaf, apparently to get closer to a goldfish, and be very surprised when it turned out that the leaf wasn't solid and didn't support its weight. The kitten learned to swim *very* quickly.

depends on the cat - the breeds with East/ SE Asian ancestry (Siamese, Bengal etc) often do like water, provided its not excessively cold!
