Nigel Farage is and has always been a racist, xenophobic bully. And such are the policies he promotes.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/dec/04/farage-turns-on-broadcasters-racism-allegations-bbc> “[Farage] was consistent, and he was persistent. Peter and I used to have lunch together in the sort of cloisters, a thoroughfare between the main buildings. There were people going backwards and forwards all the time, and I witnessed on multiple occasions, sort of little snide comments and personal, vindictive, racist comments."

@rysiek The really weird thing, is people seem to care.
Like, it's as if nobody had noticed that his entire political existence is manifest racism - somehow these old stories of him being a school yard bully make it real and suddenly people aren't OK with it.
Which is actually kinda good, in a way. But super surreal to watch.

@HerraBRE yes, I totally agree. That's why I keep mentioning this. I guess more people are fine with racist, xenophobic policies than with openly racist and xenophobic politicians themselves.

@rysiek Current headlines about UK politics be like:
"Racist leader of racist political party pressured to sack council leader accused of racism."
It's wild.
