Perhaps I still got to get used to it, but unwieldy #UX for quoting in #Mastodon.
The boost icon opens a new dropdown menu, with an extra click required, and changing post visibility leads to opening a full configuration dialog you must configure and save.
What are your default preferences wrt quote posts?

smallcircles@social.coop that's a little weird, we definitely send the boost to you (otherwise you wouldn't have seen it reflected in the boosted users list).

@liaizon@social.wake.st he responded to me via DM when I was talking about context relocation and removal FEPs. He finished off his reply with "I'm not part of your fediverse any more.", so I take it as a sign he's taking a break at minimum.

I just learned that #Libranet.de is the longest running #ActivityPub server on the 'verse.

note: above says we've been here ~9 year. Per Wikipedia AP has only existed 7 years, and friendica only added support 6 years ago. Friendica first launched 15 years ago. I also see many other #Friendica instances showing the same 105 month old age, so this may have been when the website first added support, originally it was called poduptime and only included Diaspora* pods.

@savetoleen I understand how incredibly hard it is in your situation there. and I wouldn't want people to think your account isn't legitimate. if you see someone make a post about something and your reply is unrelated, your gonna get a lot of people blocking you or thinking you are spam, even if otherwise they might be supportive of your cause. I know that sounds harsh but there has been a large amount of people here seeking help so sadly there is much competition for peoples donations
