Poll: Imagine you were suddenly thrust into a situation where you were the only person available to deliver a baby. How screwed are you/the mother/the baby?
(Assume six minutes to prepare, and access to a first aid kit as well as the objects, like bedsheets and cookwear, you'd find in a typical suburban home.)

Poll: Which of the following pieces of computer software do you feel confident you could write, if you had to do it yourself?
(Assume a reasonable amount of time and access to reasonable educational resources to use for reference while doing the writing. Assume you have access to no form of "generative AI". Assume the scope of which features are supported by the OS or compiler is one of the things you're supposed to be able to decide on yourself to complete the task.)

@mcc I like the fact that you put the cookware into the list, demonstrates knowledge that us communists eat babies, and that they're best when just delivered.

@mcc My dad had a 37-foot sailboat for 20 years and I spent plenty of time on it, so yes absolutely I could "operate" a similar-sized boat. It's a little awkward to do single-handed - two people is better (and the other person doesn't need much skill or knowledge) - but it is possible.

Poll (1/3): Which of the following books have you read?
(Due to the nature of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, if the version you read was a abridged version, use your own judgement as to whether it "counts".)

Poll (3/3): Which of the following authors have you read at least one book by?
(Note: The Communist Manifesto is not a book. It is a pamphlet. It is like 30 pages.)
