Kinda lucky it works out with barely any wait. The timetable on the Tuscan side has room for improvement.
At least up here in the north, the west side of Apennine is steep requiring all the engineering while the east side rises more gradually. So, the first hour up from Pistoia to Porretta Terma is quite spectacular while the second part is a fairly normal mountain railway.

Bologna has not just a binario 1 tronco, it has loads on both sides, so there are Piazzale Ouest and Piazzale Est. If your train starts from the latter, you get a free workout. It is far, far away, past the big bridge in the picture and then some more.

Because I am not paying for any reservations until we’ve reached the end of Puglia – did I mention that rule yet? – I’m not going to do the third line which is only used by high-speed trains. Also, it is mostly tunnels and a bit boring.

@andre123 il vero dramma degli extrafini è che si consuma pochissimo inchiostro, e non si ha la scusa per comprarne di nuovi, altroche :D
delle Carioca invece avevo sentito parlare bene, nella categoria ultraeconomica — d'altra parte credo che anche loro abbiano come target principale i bambini delle scuole tedesche, per cui devono funzionare senza se ne ma, e resistere anche a qualche maltrattamento

@andre123 il bello dell'intinzione è poter cambiare inchiostro ogni volta che si vuole, senza dover arrivare alla fine della ricarica / inchiostrare una nuova penna
e poter scrivere con tratti diversi per pochi soldi (un pennino di solito costa un paio di euro, facile arrivare ad averne *cough* qualche dozzina)
ed è più facile trovare cose estreme, tipo extrafini che sono davvero una punta spillo o anche meno, flessibili che sono superflessibili (entrambi questi casi hanno lo svantaggio che dopo un po' — si parla di anni, o almeno mesi se li si usa *intensamente* tutti i giorni) si consumano, il che probabilmente è il motivo per cui nelle stilografiche non li mettono)
o all'altro estremo punte speciali larghe anche 5 mm (queste credo che in stilografica non le facciano perché hanno una forma diversa e non so se funzionerebbe l'alimentatore)

@paoloredaelli Utilizzare un router di TIM è un po' come preparare un frullato senza frullatore con soli coltelli, si, prima o poi ce la fai, ma non è il massimo 😂👌

@TazPoltorak I'd be quite wary of polar fleece (and synthetic wadding) melting at oven temperatures
if you have some wool scraps they may work instead of the thermo insulation, but maybe you'd need a bigger thinkness, and with cotton you'd definitely need more than either.
