now that I'm a bit further down this rabbit hole I'm realizing this isn't much different from the terrestrial cartography I did one summer in college about 16 years ago, except that your benchmarks are all moving a lot faster

one of the benchmarks we wanted to use had a typos where two digits were transposed preventing us from using it because otherwise none of our math would have added up. the professor rejected my proposal to simply interpolate the error across all our data points to make the more convenient benchmark work out lol. so instead we had to chain our data points to a much less convenient datum which iirc involved us trespassing into a reservoir.

Yeah, I should have mentioned I'm not 100% sure of the quality of that SW sin implementation. I grabbed it from the internets and hoped the kind stranger that wrote it knew what they were doing.I was more interested in the GPU differences at the time, and this impl was good enough to show those clearly

@jon_valdes @demofox @dotstdy well I can tell from eyeballing it that it definitely produces a smoother gradient than the hw version

@aeva I mean it's causing enough problems with gps they have dedicated stations just to measure it and to recalibrate

Usare qualcosa è diverso da promoverne l'uso, nel primo caso si riconosce l'utilità di qualcosa e nel secondo ci si impegna per convincere altri a fare altrettanto.
Io non ho mai visto un suo impegno per la diffusione dello schwa, ha spiegato perché alcuni gruppi lo usano e ha spiegato come andrebbe usato (spiegazione che dev'essere caduta nel vuoto perché vedo che molti continuano a pensare che basti metterlo in fondo ad una parola...).

tutti quelli su masto .host hanno problemi a leggerti o è un problema specifico dell'utente o specifico di fedilab.
Se è un problema di masto. host si segnala a loro, altrimenti a fedilab, altrimenti vediamo le impostazioni dell'utente.
