Today, October 4, a Vulcan ship travels to Earth to observe its first artificial satellite, Sputnik. After several weeks, the ship malfunctions and crashes in Carbon Creek, Pennsylvania, leading to the actual first contact between humans and aliens (Star Trek: Enterprise, 2001)

@yth @maxoakland yeah, I think given the trade-offs you probably just want to have both directions pre-drawn. In emulators and modern C64 setups, disk speed and space is not a major issue.

per quel poco che so della situazione mi sembri una persona che è esausta dalle continue manipolazioni emotive e molto vicina a cominciare a dire i suoi "no".
Mi sento di suggerirti di cominciare, con gentilezza ma senza cedere, a dire i "no" che senti dentro, inizialmente sarà una tragedia, ma non farti spaventare, un "no" dopo l'altro, mano a mano che mettendo limiti cominci a costruire il tuo spazio (che non è il suo spazio) le cose si faranno più chiare e non avrai più bisogno di farti queste domande.

@swelljoe @maxoakland I would say flipping bytes at runtime to save memory space is a poor trade-off. It will take too much cpu. There won’t be glitches as long as you don’t update stuff while it is being drawn, so do it while the beam is not on the sprite. You could create flipped copies at init time to save loading time and disk space.
