The additional detail I have heard is that one agent was pistol whipping the victim and his gun went off. The other agent at that point drew his gun and riddle the victimâs body with bullet bullets.

I've watched this enough times to say that this doesn't really look like murder anymore, it looks exactly like an execution.

On the first shot nothing happens. Probably a mistake, one of the agents left the safety off their gun. But then..
Again watch the body language of the agents: They are excited afterward. Theyâre high on the thrill of dominance.

The latest ICE shooting has now been reported in the Minnesota Star Tribune, with video. Itâs a purely gratuitous shooting of a man after ICE beat the sh*t out of him, kicking him repeatedly. He was on the ground and in no way a threat. Horrible.

Allowing people to do (good) things that you didn't anticipate is literally the best possible outcome of making anything, and the balance between unstructured, groping in the dark chaos and the world of grammarlike intuition is the first, only, and total challenge. The evaluation model of R is a product of serendipity and reverse engineering that is objectively horrible to imagine, but has resulted in some of the most downright intuitive tools I have ever had the pleasure of using.

I believe that the unique thing indie creators can bring to people is the human connection; whether it is an illustration that deeply speaks to specific people, a deep conversation with people on the internet, or a box coming in the mail⊠To me, this is what has become the most important when I create.
A lot of independent creators are trying to sound too big and professional (saying âweâ even though itâs one guy in his garage), and I realized that I was doing exactly the same mistake: By refusing to put a bit of myself in each order, I was basically turning away an opportunity to connect with someone directly.
Imagine, it's like if I was hiring someone to write this newsletter! It's not directly my art, but it's still so important.
So, to correct my past self, I think artists and creators create the most value by connecting with people. Making art and sending boxes are just some of the opportunities to do so!

This reminds me of the time I "fell in love" with Vincent van Gogh.
It wasn't his art in the first place.
It was his personality, his life, it was him that pulled me in.
Then I looked at his art and realized that this kind of art could've only been made by this kind of artist.
His personality, his story, he himself, connected with me.
And that's why I still think he is the greatest artist of all time.
