I am a Engineer who builds custom conveyor guards out of stainless steel material with Solidworks and AutoCAD.
I am big fan of all music and genres.
I love open source and decentralized platforms.

@scottjenson I have an interest in making experimental window managers for Linux, but I'm under the impression such a project is a significant undertaking in engineering effort. Is that generally correct? Is there a way forward for small time hobby experimentation, or is this sort of thing pretty much the exclusive territory of large organizations now days?

it's not only distance here it's altitude, too (posting this from around 3m below sea level). And yes at foggy weather ship horns can regularly be heard here.Maybe a night bird or some kind of noctural animal... Fog is like a low pass filter and distorts and muffles noises...
