For example <https://beige.party/search?q=opossum&type=statuses> finds nothing for me (signed out), should probably find:

@jerry thanks, I have my shortlist down to two instances.
I currently lean towards beige.party. because whenever I browse its local live feed alongside mas.to, the beige makes me feel better.
Would you like to suggest any other instance?

@grahamperrin I think we shouldn't go crazy with doing BSD only stuff. @stefano often posts other types of posts, and that shows that this instance is supposed to be more a hangout of BSD enthusiasts than a BSD forum.
Then again I don't know what you mean by things that don't belong in the cafe.

@grahamperrin Hachyderm's character limit is 2249 characters for me. I've mostly been able to fit my long toots in there, but if you need 2000+ characters you may need to try something else. Good luck finding a new instance. :)

@clf @grahamperrin It's a Cafe. Nobody should only talk about BSDs. This would be boring. The world is much more than this.
All I ask for is not to transform it into a Fight Club.
