    URGENT: #Trans people in Germany need your help. There's recently been a proposal submitted by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) to create a list of people who changed their name/gender under the self-identification law. While the initial proposal has been rejected, it may be reintroduced in the future. This is obviously a terrible idea, especially considering the increasing popularity of the far-right party. If we manage to reach 30.000 signatures within the next eleven days, the petition-starter will be invited to discuss the topic with the so-called Petitionsausschuss. So unlike petitions on platforms like Change.org, this one cannot be ignored as easily. I recently learned that living in Germany is not required to sign, so I kindly ask you to help us.
