@oblomov BTW: My theory is that when humans still didn't have fire or language, like before even the cavemen, there were proto-humans who slept at night and then there were humans who stood watch at night, and some humans were so good at this it got coded into our genes. but quickly semi-discarded when we discovered fire. But that errant DNA for not sleeping is still with us however many thousands of years since then.
