Laundry Store Simulator is the kind of game that starts by presenting you with a bunch of annoyances, and then as you earn money/make progress, you unlock upgrades that reduce or eliminate those annoyances. For instance, at the beginning you walk very slowly while carrying a laundry basket, but you can buy upgraded baskets that let you move faster.

That's fine as far as it goes, but it also means that your player's first impression of the game is going to be of it in its most tedious, least fun state. I wonder how many players bail out because of the annoyances before they ever realize you can earn your way past them
