Billionaires are looting the world.

@nickofnz we should stop calling them "rich" and instead say "greedy"

@nickofnz Yes. And the focus is pushed towards immigrants or some other marginalized group making us believe that they're the problem. Disgusting.

@nickofnz If you can not beat them, join them :)

@nickofnz There should have never been private persons who are worth billions. It went wrong when we didn't properly tax those with millions banked. You don't need a billion to survive. That kind of money breeds madness in a person.

We're not in a recession; we're in a robbery that has the ones being robbed suffering from Stockholm syndrome.
They wouldn't be helping Elon M., Mark Z., Jeff B, etc. to get richer if they weren't. If they weren't, they would completely ignore the companies of those robbers. -
@nickofnz Kleptomanic deadbeats.

@nickofnz Oligarchs love recessions. It allows them the opportunity to steal wealth from the rest of us

The Klept (per William Gibson) -
@nickofnz
The āEssentialāLivingā surcharge puts a 90āÆ% tax on any income above $761āÆK ā the point where even the richest spend more than the average Americanās grocery budget. Targeting the topāÆ1āÆ% only, it could pull in about $1.4āÆT a year and erase the $33āÆT federal deficit in ~30āÆyears, while funneling a 20āÆ% credit into affordable housing, clean energy, and workforce training. A laserāfocused, progressive revenue boost that leaves 99āÆ% of taxpayers untouched. -

@nickofnz Tax the greedy.

@nickofnz Luigi Mangione has the solution.

We're in a second Gilded Age and the oligarch objective is to control enough information and infrastructure to create a permanent monopoly based on State and individual dependency.
Individuals and govts can make a stand by no longer using US big tech, but how many people are prepared to give up their Facebook, Windows, WhatsApp, Apple, Google, Android, AWS, GCP, Azure, Xitter, BSky, Insta, ...?

@nickofnz ā¬ļø THANK you

A lot of us, even if bit by bit

@_L1vY_ @nickofnz I mean they called themselves Kings and created huge rituals to mark themselves as special
But yeah they were ROBBER BARONS all of them
and to this day King Charles exempts himself from any law he doesn't like (including discrimination law, environmental protection etc)
There is a reason Trump wants to be a King

You can't join them. They starve and burn everyone around them and you're not one of them.
Billionaire-posting not super welcome here; bye.
