It's the classic plausibly deniable Nazi symbols that they love so much. Sure, normal people wear trench coats. It's cold, our military branches have standard issue trench coats (though this isn't standard issue in any branch, as far as I can tell), so when someone points it out, the fascists will just say "What, it's illegal to wear a warm coat, now?" But, he knows exactly what he's saying with that haircut and that attire.

We report: we chance a last look at the sky before going to sleep, out of habit. We think we know it will be too cloudy to see anything, but we can never go to bed without a last look. We remember why that it is upon seeing the stars. A bit of fog moves between constellations.
