Explosions shook the house, planes and drones never stopped, and I kept thinking: will I survive till morning or end up under the rubble?Everything is terrifying now sleep, the night, even the silence before an explosion. I fear for myself and worry about my family and friends.

@seabass thank you, and no idea. I'm not particularly interested in the collective camping side of it though. It's more a means to and end, to find the place where I'll eventually want to move to.

One idea that came to mind: is there a campervan association that you could join that might give access to more exclusive pitching sites, ideally with proper codes of conduct? My parents were once members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club in the UK, which has 'certified locations' available only to members. Theoretically, a member can be expelled from the Club for harassing another member, although I don't know how well that works in practice.
