There are two Docker containers I want to install and both fail due to (I think) permission errors. I'm not sure I want to spend another two days trying to get this to work. I feel like Docker is a solution to a complexity problem that just adds another later of complexity.
P.S. Just venting, not asking for solutions or help. -

@aral how many tabs do you use? Browsers these days consumes huge amounts of memory on certain websites. Even #Firefox which has been known for its lower memory requirements tends to need gigabytes of memory when you have hundreds of open tabs

@silhelm in theory in a fancy set of mini-drawers I made myself with cardboard and bookbinding paper, with dividers in each drawer to keep the vials vertical. There is a bit of paper that folds over the top with the name of the ink, to make it easier to identify and use them.

the latest batch I bought is *temporarily* in the cardboard box of some component from the house electrical system, with dividers quickly made from bits of cardboard packaging from some groceries, until I make more drawers.
I'm not sure I'll ever make enough drawers before I buy even more samples :D
(and I should work on publishing the plans for the drawers, some day)

@aral Still down on Sonoma. I can usually outwait Apple when they do something stupid, although buying a mid-2015 MBP in 2017 and having to wait until 2022 before they backpedalled on butterfly keyboards and HDMI ports was annoying
