discussion of burnout in open source communities is kind of odd. you're telling me that a group of people, who after finishing a day at their big tech company day job, go home and work a second unpaid tech job for "fun", often 7 days a week, might be more likely to have an unhealthy relationship with work? tickle me surprised

This is not a judgement of course. Just a bit funny when people talk about open source burnout reasons around interpersonal conflict, but skip over the whole working a hundred hours a week part.
