This store is always closed. Yesterday it was closed which is fair it was Tuesday. But the sign wasn't up, it was locked inside the store on the floor. Today the sign is up and outside, so somebody must have opened the store to put it up. But the store is still closed.

These Gundam/anime figure stores that are never open or open like 1 hour every day that's a prime number when the moon is waxing are like when I get geolocked from buying things online. "I WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY. PLEASE JUST LET ME!"
I'm starting to think they're not really stores but the private collections of some rich weeb and exist just to taunt us with all the treasures they have which us plebs may look at but never hold.

This Spider-Man statue clearly is meant to be hanging upside down by a web/string, but having him sitting on the floor in that pose looks like he's doing something else and checking to see if anybody is around to notice.

Bank apps, govt apps, car apps, parking apps: all needed things that just work on Android or iOS. And most require a trusted device to boot, can't even root. This duopoly is much stronger than anything on servers, desktops or cars, and I can't see a way for alternatives to exist unless they can run Android apps *and* pretend to comply to SafetyNet. Getting Waydroid to successfully comply to safetynet checks would be huge, but ultimately it would be an arms-race.
This is a long-winded way to say "I'd love to use a gnome or kde phone, but nope".

@graffio gli "ottimisti" spesso non sanno nemmeno di cosa stanno parlando perché o non hanno mai compilato due righe di codice oppure l'unica cosa che sanno fare è compilare due righe di codice con la pretesa di spiegarci cosa è la vita a partire da porte logiche e compilatori. L'effetto è comunque di passare come naturale (che invoca rassegnazione e adattamento) ciò che i vece è culturale e storico (che invoca scelte).
