Apparently my Fedi promo video is giving error messages on YouTube (shocker).
So I just logged on YouTube Studio for the first time in months to see what's going on... and found some interesting comments.
I'm not caffeinated enough to deliver zingers but I hope my response was adequate.
On the upside, I also saw a few comments of people who set up new accounts here, so yay.
As for the unplayable problem: no clue. But this is why I LOVE #PeerTube and on my website I'm using the PeerTube embed
@_elena while I found you via the video, I enjoy the amount of positive energy you bring in here. I'd hope more villains were like you. Please keep sharing your fediverse endeavours.

Works fine on an olde iPhone and an outdated MacBook Pro (32bit, Mojave).
Both w Firefox, the MacBook Firefox with Adblockers.I am in Ireland.

@dalekmad you know, I've become a sort of unofficial advocate for the Fediverse and it would help me tremendously to understand what makes you spend more time on Bluesky / why you like it more. Is it the people there or the algorithms or something else?

@_elena people protecting the big corpos are living outside the real world. I am puzzled how they completely miss the big picture. Like cows heading proudly to the slaughter.

@_elena There's something about its Twitter spin-off history that makes it earlier to migrate for some. So, news and politics on the left and centre are slowly appearing.
I've found more people to follow there, but the engagement is awful, and it's less friendly (the rage of Twitter is still alive - I find myself ranting there a lot).
I have learnt over time that they are too company-focused for it to really change the social internet, though.

C'è sempre qualcuno a cui non gli sta bene quello che pensi, e cerca di importi il suo pensiero a volte anche in modo sgarbato e maleducato, poi ti fa girare i cocones e sei costretto a bloccarlo. Perché nessuno rispetta il pensiero altrui giusto o sbagliato che sia? Comunque Francy non ti avvelenare il sangue per niente, non è vale la pena. 😄

Non vedo della neutralità ideologicamente parlando, questo è vero, ma mi sembri comunque dalla parte giusta IMHO.
