@JenJen There's a huge postal strike going on since November 15 and it doesn't feel like it's going to end soon.
They were negotiating up until about a week ago when the government-appointed mediator gave up. Now Canada Post and the union are maybe close to agreeing on a model for how negotiations will be conducted.
The last postal strike was ended by act of parliament, but the minority Liberal government just lost its coalition with the NDP (social democrats) over force-ending a rail workers' strike this summer, so they're reluctant to do it this time.
My place of work relies heavily on Canada Post. This suuuuuucks.

@JenJen Canada Post workers have been mandated back to work starting today. There are grumblings in the press that suggest members may not obey the order, but at least my organization is assuming that the postal system is running again.
The contract has been extended to May, so we'll probably have another strike then.
