@petaqui hi Alexandro! Great question! So I'm using NextCloud as a replacement for WeTransfer and Dropbox, mostly to share documents with collaborators. My main photo library stays on a hard drive that is backed up in 3 different locations... and for super sensitive data I use ProtonDrive.
Still, I like not having to depend on U.S. tech platforms for work stuff

@_elena hi Elena! I'm digging deeper into self hosting (I've been doing that for more than 15 years on simple sites, image hosting, and some tools at a web server), but, I'm thinking of using more complex apps. The point, on why I'm writing to you 😃 aren't you afraid of the security side? Thousands of sites are being hacked daily, aren't you afraid of having some data exposed? For example, NextCloud doesn't encrypt your data if you don't use the E2EE function (probably you won't as they don't either recommend that). Thanks!
