@alexia so would you say that Fortnite or Counter-Strike as complete products aren't really art as opposed to a game like Silent Hill f or Dust: An Elysian Tail?
No judgment for any answer btw, just gathering opinions.
yeah I feel they serve a different purpose from eachother in their uh, "being art"-ness
the creation of CS or Fortnite is certainly an artform, but the degree to which there is an artistic intend may differ
Something that is made to be art may be more upfront about having an artistic intention/message
some games exist purely to deliver an artistic message

@sterophonick it is not a matter of opinion, because the supreme court ruled that video games *are* art back in 2011 (brown v. entertainment merchants association)
