I finally got the chance to watch Evan’s (@evanprodromou ) talk¹ on tags.pub from #FOSDEM.
There is no denying that the Fediverse needs something like this, but I don’t understand how tags.pub is substantially different from #FediBuzz Relay², which already exists.

@zelu @peterkotrcka Yes, accurate. Having a coffee at the bar isn't (always) a "let's relax" thing but more a "I need a good coffee".
Some bars allow to have the coffee at the counter and consume it sitting, without paying more. So it depends.
