The closure of Lavabit by the US Govt in 2013 should have been a wake up call to start divesting EU depencency from US infrastructure.

Nobody in the EU should trust US owned infra any more than Russian infra. No company officers, facilities, equipment or financial services should be US assets if you want to keep your data safe.

@marleenstikker Europe needs to hit back as hard as we can. Divest every cent and if necessary, nationalize Internet infrastructure that is physically located in Europe.
The USA cannot be considered an ally anymore, not even an unreliable one.@tkissing @marleenstikker Europe needs to consider the US government an enemy. As should the people of the United States.

But we (the Netherlands) still store our data on servers of Amazon and Microsoft. If the Orange dictator gets mad he can order these companies to block all data. We are só screwed. And so stupid!

About three years ago our beloved kitty Jasper started losing weight. Over the next year he'd shed about a third of his body weight and had a bunch of intestinal issues.
After a biopsy we discovered he had intestinal lymphoma and he was prescribed steroids and chemotherapy. Not long after, he'd gained nearly all his weight and energy back.
He still gets regular checkups every 3-4 months but I'm so grateful that he's doing so well. ❤️❤️❤️
