@flexion Irix was where I learned Alias PowerAnimator v6.0 back in the '90s. A friend of the family was going on vacation for a few months and didn't want his expensive Indy workstation to sit unused so he lent it to me. I was madly impressed by Irix. It still looks like the best GUI design ever!
@bojanlandekic @flexion I still hear the crystal clear sounds when clicking on the toolchest or an icon on the desktop while sitting at an Octane in 2000, maintaining an art installation by Sommerer & Mignonneau during the exhibition āvision.ruhrā in Dortmund. https://235media.de/2000/12/vision-ruhr/?lang=en Great experience.

@flexion Pretty sure you can compile geomyidae on Irix too and serve your own gopher hole:
gopher://bitreich.org:70/1/scm/geomyidae/log.gph
They literally have no web page for it, itās all on gopher. And well maintained.
Hell if you look at the homepage of bitreich.org they also have a very funcional TPB š“āā ļø gopher UI. š
