Buongiorno & Good morning...
I just saw highlights of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics 2026 and I really really liked it. I have no favorite winter sport to watch, but we'll see, maybe there will be some pleasant surprise.
As for the opening ceremony itself, it was really fresh, modern looking. I'll start with the thing I'm not sure it needed: Mariah Carey - in the country with 59 millions of singers, why?
On the other hand, the national anthem sang by Laura Pausini was a great choice: she's well known even abroad, has a very decent voice that suits for this occasion, she's kind of "in the middle" of generations so she'd be accepted as a singer of the anthem by the younger generation as well as by the older one. And she does look great, that's always a plus.

Uso della tastiera del computer. Ieri, in una riunione, ero vicina a una collega che ha battuto tutti i record: per scrivere usava una sola mano con solo un dito. Il record precedente era di un'altra collega che usa un dito e mezzo, nel senso che la mano sinistra viene usata per premere un solo tasto, sempre quello.

그래도 이番에 유럽 다녀오면서 좋았던 것 中 하나는 英語 會話에 對한 負擔이 많이 줄었다는 것. 實力이 는 건 아니지만, 눈치를 훨씬 덜 보게 되었달까? 15年 前쯤 美國 東部에 갔을 때와 달리 사람들이 나에게 훨씬 親切했던 것과 關係가 있는 것 같다.
