One may notice a certain dissonance:
"Interviews are insanely hard for no reason and involve questions you will not be answering in your job"
And: "most stuff is designed on vibes by people who don't know what they're doing."
The answer is: nepotism. A lot of people get jobs through nepotism. Someone "recommended" them, which is to say, they were hired because someone knew them. They skipped the queue. They didn't do the bullshit grind you did. And if you've ever aced an interview and still didn't get hired? There's a pretty good chance that's what happened to you.
