@jackdaniel In the layout of the second example of version 1 why do you insert a label pane between the text field and the button? Wouldn't +fill+ or similar do?
@hipsterelectron I think don't think that's the reason. I think it's more like, if you frequently forget you have a disability, it is hard to think of it as a disability. Like, I don't think of my extreme nearsightedness as being a disability even though I absolutely cannot see more than a few inches in front of my face without corrective lenses. I do however see my convergence insufficiency as a minor disability because the severe eye strain is a literal loss of ability.
@aeva more generally i want people to overcome the perception that disability is a personal weakness as opposed to a more general understanding of the human condition
@hipsterelectron but things have changed though. colorblindness accessibility modes have become a lot more common, there's a lot more materials available now to explain how to validate stuff for colorblindness readability, and average quality of said accessibility efforts has generally improved significantly, or so I'm told
We have a neighbor who thought for a long time that we were retired, because he would often see us walking in the neighborhood in the middle of the work day. We're not retired, but fortunate enough to work from home a lot of the time. We managed to take a walk today before the clouds came in. #FallColors
I had a super busy work day today. Hiking has been planned for the weekend. Hoping to get some cool photos. Here are some trees I passed yesterday. #FallColors
