A pioneer supermini and for a time Europe's best-seller, the ageing Fiat 127 was lagging behind as the '80s dawned. In 1982 it got a second facelift, with a bolder sloping nose and lots of plastic add-on trim. The new 1300 Sport (known as the GT in the UK) is shown in this Dutch brochure. The range also got an all-new dashboard, while the Sport got an overhead console with digital clock, including stopwatch, and fashionable net front headrests to enhance its performance credentials.
