@lexinova @alfiekohn Isn't it EU based? To be fair, it doesn't worry me too much because of E2EE and the almost zero logging, but this last point can change any time if it's US based. Do they have a warrant canary?
@qgustavor @alfiekohn no signal is US based, and a warrant canary is useless, if Trump oder the stop, amazon, google, and microsoft can shut down the whole network, force shut the signal fundation and in the worst case jail the CEO that is ALSO US citizen.
Signal cannot survive an US attack.
And @signalapp CEO lied and refused to diversify their server, so they are not reliable and from an ennemy state.
So i stared move out that crap
