@GossiTheDog they had to approve the package, because they need the public to keep believing in Musk. No other car company is within an order of magnitude of the valuation of TSLA when talking P/E, and all the other major car companies sell a lot more cars.
TSLA is based on a theory that Musk is unmatched and unstoppable and a unique genius. If they ever let on that they don't believe he is those things, everything falls apart and the market will value TSLA fairly based on actual revenue.

@karlauerbach it's not just MacOS. It's similarly bad everywhere. As Martin notes, uv makes it somewhat better. But, it's still become a language where I'm constantly afraid of upgrading any library or Python itself, as I know something will break either at build or run time. The Python ecosystem has become overtly hostile to backward compatibility and heterogeneous deployments, where you have to accommodate old and new operating systems and Python versions.

The trillion dollar deal has a bunch of financial targets in it. At current rates he will not make any of them.
Hopefully some of the loans he guaranteed with Tesla stock will start to see margin calls soon.
