I'd love to be able to specify "show me ten toots and make me click a button to show me the next ten."
The amount could be a variable. But the effect would help the mental health of a lot of folks who use these programs.
Just as an option to counter infinite scroll.

https://libreserver.org/epicyon/
does. Note the this isn't just a Mastodon client but its own Fediverse service though. Still, at least it shows it can be done 8-)

@simonperry Sto sempre attenta quando faccio apprezzamenti sulle voci altrui perché anche quello, quando manca la vista, è uno dei parametri usati per molestare altri. A me è capitato quando avevo registrato dei podcast tecnici. Tipo "se la tua voce è così, lasciami immaginare la tua pelle" a cui risposi "accontentati del mio dito medio alzato".
