Team USA athletes, including Mikaela Shiffrin and Erin Jackson, were cheered as they entered the stadium, highlighting the distinction between the crowd's reaction to the athletes and the politician.
Would you like to know more about the 2026 Winter Olympics or JD Vance's role in the US delegation?

@petergleick For me, Vance, who could follow Trump as the president of the USA, is worse and more dangerous than Trump. He is a "pupil" of Peter Thiel, whose aim was to turn Vance, a Dem., into a Rep. so Silicon Valley had more influence in the White House.

@petergleick I'm keen for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics being cancelled because of poor ticket sales and half the athletes didn't want to risk coming to America.

@petergleick What do you think? First he humiliates us Europeans, and then he thinks he can attend the Olympic Games without any reaction. Let him drop dead with that foreign bitch of his.

@fenixmaster @petergleick While I agree that his wife deserves to be shunned for… well, being his wife, i.e. voluntarily being close to him while belonging to two groups he has nothing but contempt for, I cannot overlook that your comment is nothing but racist and misogynistic. He is just a he to you, but for her you point out that she is not American and you resort to slur and insults towards women?

@Tjader A reference to foreign has nothing to do with racism. You are generalizing quite broadly, but that is the latest trend. @petergleick

@fenixmaster @petergleick If you had criticised his hypocrisy for having a foreign wife you would definitely be right… but you just pointed out her foreignness, so that does imply some@sort of racism

@petergleick Apparently US media silenced the booing...
And it's not FOX News. If it was FOX News, it'd be "of course they did"...but now it appears all the US corporate media is complicit. Americans are about to be even more ignorant than they already are.

@Tjader Some sort of racisme? I read on your profile that you moved to Sweden, which basically makes you a foreigner in Sweden. So if I call you a foreigner, does that make me a racist?
I get the feeling that you are letting your own feelings influence your accusation.

@fenixmaster @petergleick You don’t seem to get the point…
If you say I am a foreigner in order to point out real differences (cultural, language,…), it is different to just calling someone a foreigner. And calling someone a foreign asshole is definitely racism, because you make the fact that that person is foreign part of the insult. And concerning the couchfucker’s wife, you did precisely that, only with another word than asshole. -
